View Co-host Ana Navarro took to Twitter to call Senator Kyrsten Sinema and she doesn’t care who is offended. Specifically, Navarro took issue with Sinema’s unprofessionalism and the double standards that women of color face when it comes to their attire in comparison. It comes as Sinema wore a black t-shirt with a denim vest, not while shopping for groceries or hanging out with friends, but while presiding over the Senate on Tuesday.

“I really don’t care who is triggered by my bringing race into this,” Navarro wrote in his social media post, pointing out the double standard. “The truth is, no woman of color could dress like this, and act like this, and be taken seriously, let alone elected.”

The post, unsurprisingly, had many likes, retweets, and comments. Some agreed with Navarro’s comments, regardless of their ethnicity or nationality.

“As a white woman, I wholeheartedly approve this post,” wrote one user.

Another user wrote: “As a white woman I don’t think what she was wearing was office friendly. And I certainly agree that if she was black or Latin, that would’ve been an intro to all the news shows last night.

“I am Latino. You are right. My late mother would come back from the dead and slap me if I looked like this, ”wrote one Latin netizen.

A small number of comments appealed to Navarro, like the one below.

Many also recalled the beige suit President Obama wore and how Republicans lost him when it happened, another clear sign that there are double standards, even for a sitting president if he is. is a colored man. And some were more concerned with the footage that Sinema’s outfit recalls, a.k.a. the Jan.6 attack on the Capitol, where Trump supporters sat in that chair and took pictures as if they didn’t come from. break into a federal building.
